Long Overdue Update

Things I have done: Went to Atlanta where I experienced the world of Coke, and CNN, as well as big city night life (kinda) and a million and one laughs. Got a 95% on my first real grad school test. Saw Gavin Degraw in concert for free; the opener was Travis Barker and DJAM who got in that plane crash at my local airport. Read the Appreciative Advising Revolution. Watched Zeitgeist and Zeitgeist:Addendum. Went to the Greek Festival. Had fun dinners with Heidi. Went to the South Carolina State Fair. Cooked lots of BBQ at Gamecock tailgates followed by really enjoying SEC football. Developed a kindergarten crush. Started looking at summer internships. Booked my trip home to Idaho and also to Seattle to see my buddy Kai. Missed a lot of people (Ryan, Stu, Bri, May, Sheila, Dad, Mom, Chayter, Snare, Liv, Wend, JoAnn, Cole, Kai in no particular order). Made some great new friends (Hannah, Spencer, Tricia, Jenn, Spring, Gavin, David, Jarod, Stephanie, Chris, Gavin, Ryan, Erin, Mary, Lamar, Heidi, John, Angela, Ben, and others, again in no particular order). Got really mad. Been REALLY happy. Thought a lot about the past. Thought more about the future. Appreciated great weather. Bought a new sofa and ottoman. Learned. Laughed A LOT. Started training for a half marathon. Saw a turtle in nature. G Had wonderful conversation. Laughed at a lame 80's cover band and made so many AWESOME memories.

Things I am going to do: Go camping. See more football. Begin to eat better. Learn how to use my outlook calendar. Spend less money. Get a passport. Write an awesome paper for publication. Get straight A's. Keep in good contact with my friends and family. See Bri at Thanksgiving! Blog more often. Say what I feel. Study hard. Look for internships in the Northeast. Take Jenny's advising class. Help develop a logo. Hang my diploma in my office. Go to Charleston. Vote for OBAMA. Get better at supervision and advising. Try salsa dancing. RUN. Be outside. Be diligent.
